Playing 2 Shows For Barry Adamson’s Album Launch

I’m doing 2 shows tomorrow and Tuesday in the band for Barry Adamson and the launch of his new album ‘Memento Mori’ released earlier this week.

Barry is a Mercury-nominated musician, composer, writer, photographer and filmmaker. He came to prominence in the late 1970s as a member of the post-punk band Magazine and went on to work with Visage, The Birthday Party, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and the electro musicians Pan Sonic. In addition to prolific solo work, Barry has also remixed Grinderman, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Depeche Mode. He created the seven-minute opus Useless (Escape From Wherever: Pts. 1 & 2) remix for the latter band in 1997. He also worked on the soundtrack for David Lynch’s surrealistic crime film Lost Highway.

I am chuffed to be playing in his awesome 9 piece band for these special shows:

29th October – Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester – Tickets here

30th October – Union Chapel, Islington, London – Tickets here
