On Sunday I had the privelige of performing with a Jazz vocalist I can only describe as prolific. BBC Jazz award-winning Ian Shaw, who guested with my Jazz quinted at Mango Landin’ in Brixton. I’ve collaborated on a brand new EP with Quebec-based triphop, lounge, hip hop producer genius Mr. Moods.

Straight Twisted Lounge is filled with dusty grooves, loungy hip hop beats, with some guest MCs and vocalists adding their flavours to the pot. Chill out, max, relax, bob your head, and drift away to this!

Playing at the Royal Wedding!!

I’m going to be in LONDON’S HYDE PARK on the 29th April 2011 for the ROYAL WEDDING OF HRH PRINCE WILLIAM and KATE MIDDLETON!

What a fantastic day it is going to be – I’m performing with my good friends in MIB band (www.mibmusicltd.com) sometime before 4:30pm. So if you’re joining the masses in town on the big day, come to Hyde Park for a boogie!!!

Playing with Dele Sosimi at Afrobeat Vibration

I was fortunate enough to be asked to join Dele Sosimi at his Afrobeat Vibration show, Hackney New Empowering Church, London on the 27th November. Dele was Musical Director for Fela Kuti, who was a famous Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and the pioneer of Afrobeat. I’ve always been a massive Fela fan and to be part of the band this evening was an honour.

It was a fantastic evening! The band were tremendous, with an awesome energy on stage. The crowd were absolutely entranced and danced til 5am.

Funkify Play The Hurlingham Club for Help For Heroes!

On 16th July 2010 my band Funkify performed at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in London exclusively for Hedge Funds in support of Help for Heroes. After a chance meeting with Pritee of Funkify, Lucy and Beth of HFMWeek thought Funkify would be the perfect band to help their guests spend spend spend….the night dancing away in support of the Help For Heroes charity!

With some of the organisers directly affected by some of the harrowing stories that dominate our media today, they decided to do their bit to make a difference and that’s where Funkify came in!
